Your new role
* Ensure timely delivery of Corporation Tax compliance and advisory, and Tax Accounting services.
* Manage all aspects of client assignments, including resourcing, setting timescales and budgets, and liaising between departments.
* Conduct advanced technical research and present findings to clients, offering practical solutions.
* Oversee junior staff, provide guidance, feedback, and training, and delegate work effectively.
* Enforce firm procedures related to feedback, accountability, and coaching.
* Identify and recommend improvements in tax compliance processes and procedures.
* Manage workload in an agile manner to ensure client satisfaction.
* Make effective business decisions for team management.
* Manage key performance indicators for yourself and your team.
* Contribute to the sustainability, development, and growth of the firm.
* Act as a primary contact for clients and professional networks, creating and obtaining referrals.
* Identify and promote new business opportunities, with support from the business development team.
* Identify risks, improve procedures, and lead change implementation.
What you'll need to succeed
* ATT or CTA qualified or equivalent
* Previous line management experience
* Experience of using Alphatax preferred
* Professional, technical and proactive approach to delivering tax advice to clients
* Strong compliance focus
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* The ability to build strong relationships
