Job overview
We are looking for a band 6 Community CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) Nurse to work within the East Riding CORE team based at Rivendell House, Driffield, delivering mental health care to children, young people, and families within a community-based setting. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, support, and treatment for individuals with emotional and psychological difficulties.
Main duties of the job
* Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents presenting with a range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological issues.
* Develop individualised care plans, ensuring the involvement of children, families, and other relevant professionals.
* Use clinical judgment and evidence-based practices to determine appropriate interventions.
* Offer direct clinical care, and ensure the monitoring and evaluation of treatment progress, linking with other parts of the wider CAMHS network when necessary, such as crisis and home treatment teams.

Experience
* Previous community-based experience or band 6 experience transferable to a community setting.
* Evidence of development of specialist nursing skills and able to demonstrate the impact of this on practice.
* Demonstrable experience working in community nursing at band 6 level.
Skills and Competencies
* Able to effectively transport self between multiple addresses/venues on a daily basis if required.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
