This is a fixed term contract for maternity cover.

About The Role
As a Health & Wellbeing Coordinator, you will create and deliver a stimulating program of activities tailored to the needs and interests of our residents. Your role will ensure that activities support well-being, independence, and engagement, with a strong emphasis on dignity, choice, and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver person-centred activities to support the emotional, social, and physical well-being of residents.
2. Collaborate with residents and families to tailor activities to individual preferences.
3. Work with senior teams to assess and evaluate social care plans.
4. Coordinate volunteers and external activity providers to enhance the resident experience.
5. Organise special events, fundraising initiatives, and community collaborations.
6. Maintain records and ensure activities are safe and inclusive for all residents.
Skills Needed
Desired Criteria
* Experience in activity planning or a professional qualification in the field.
* Knowledge of seated exercise or similar activity-based programs.
Required Criteria
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Understanding of the social needs of older adults, including those with dementia.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
* Experience in a care setting and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Experience of event planning.
