Are you looking for a role where you can make an impact, grow your skills and be part of a supportive team?
Perhaps you're ready to dive into a fast-paced finance role where you'll take the reins on key processes and be part of a team that truly values your growth.
If you're looking for more than just a job, this is your chance to build a lasting career. Imagine starting where one of the current Financial Controllers did, 16 years ago as a Purchase Ledger Clerk and climbing the ladder to a leadership position.
That's not a rare story here; it's the norm. This company is all about investing in its people, offering study support if you're pursuing your AAT qualification and encouraging your personal growth every step of the way.
Perhaps you're already qualified by experience? They recognise and value your hands-on expertise just as much. This is where careers grow!
So, what will you be doing?
You'll be managing daily bank reconciliations with precision, raising sales invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness and assisting with month-end processes helping to keep the finance function running smoothly.
In addition, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to ad-hoc reconciliations and financial analysis as directed by the Financial Controller, allowing you to gain broader experience and further enhance your skills.
Following the successful completion of your probation period, you'll have the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week. Additionally, there is flexibility with your start and finish times, as the company values and supports a healthy work-life balance.
About you:
You'll have at least two years of finance experience under your belt and you're already comfortable handling core financial processes and eager to take on even more responsibility.
Previous experience with Sage X3 would be a plus, but don't worry if you're not familiar-training will be provided! What's essential here is your strong Excel skills, as they'll be key to succeeding in this role. If you're someone who loves diving into data and making sense of numbers, you'll thrive in this position!
Plus, if you have a knack for assessing and improving processes, your ideas will be welcomed here-this is a company that values fresh perspectives and continuous improvement.
