As the Rewards Lead for Europe & Africa, you will play a pivotal role in implementing Group rewards policies, optimizing financial targets, and ensuring seamless global mobility across our operations.
This is an office based role and the role can be located in Liverpool, Utrecht, Paris or Hamburg.
Your Responsibilities:
Rewards Strategy & Policies
* Implement competitive Group rewards strategies, policies, frameworks, and processes in Europe & Africa, ensuring alignment with Thai Union’s business objectives.
* Provide expert consultation to People & Organization (P&O) teams on total rewards benchmarking, external vendors, and best practices.
* Conduct job evaluations for existing and new positions to maintain market alignment with the global grading system.
* Develop and align country-wide rewards policies with business needs, people strategy, and global frameworks.
* Analyze and optimize existing total rewards plans, salary structures, and incentives to drive business and people strategies.
* Engage with HR teams, senior leaders, and employees to communicate rewards principles effectively.
* Stay ahead of local market trends and regulatory changes, ensuring rewards structures remain competitive and compliant.
* Ensure efficient, timely, and policy-compliant rewards operations, including performance management system alignment with business needs.
* Support executive remuneration management, including Short-Term Incentives, Long-Term Incentive Plans, and salary increases.
* Partner with regional P&O teams to implement Group policies and region-specific rewards strategies.
* Oversee documentation and information platforms related to Group rewards policies for Europe & Africa.
* Lead reviews of exception requests to Group rewards policies and advise on interventions for critical talent retention.
Financial Targets & Optimization
* Manage and optimize the total cost of Group rewards programs, ensuring balance between people cost targets and market competitiveness.
* Collaborate with Business Unit P&O leads and HRBPs to identify continuous enhancement opportunities.
* Provide key inputs and coordinate total people cost forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.
Global Mobility
* Implement and oversee global mobility policies to facilitate seamless talent deployment across Thai Union’s global operations.
* Manage mobility-related administration, including visas, work permits, and relocation support, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and their families.
* Collaborate with HRBPs, regional shared services, and Talent & Organization teams to provide advisory support on mobility policies and processes.
People & Leadership
* Act as a role model for Thai Union’s six core values, fostering a “One Thai Union” culture.
* Partner with the Center of Excellence (CoE) Rewards Team to enhance their knowledge of market trends and best practices in Europe & Africa.
* Work closely with country P&O teams and Learning & Development (L&D) teams to strengthen rewards capabilities across the region.
