HomeServe are currently recruiting for a Senior Media Manager to join the Marketing Team in Walsall. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with expert knowledge of best practice digital, multi-channel, insight led marketing.
You will be highly commercial with experience in delivering to ROI criteria. Strong marketing planning, stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills are also essential.
We work in a hybrid way, mostly remote with a requirement to travel into our Walsall office twice a week to work with the team. With that in mind, you will be located within a convenient commute to Walsall.
The HomeServe Acquisition team has changed and grown over the last 6 months, now with even more focus on driving sales through Digital than ever before. With the introduction of new product lines and a whole new brand, Ding, we’ve got exciting plans for 2025 and beyond.
As the Senior Paid Media Manager within the HomeServe Acquisition team, you will lead the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of media campaigns across all channels. Your role will focus on optimising media investment, leveraging data and insights, driving effectiveness through robust measurement and reporting.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external agency partners to ensure campaigns are aligned with business objectives, reach the right customers, and deliver measurable outcomes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the media strategy drives customer engagement and achieves commercial goals.
ROLE PURPOSE
* Champion Digital Media within the business, supporting the goal of Digital becoming the no.1 acquisition channel.
* Develop and lead the media, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and customer insights.
* Manage and collaborate with media agency partners to allocate and optimize paid media budgets across channels (Paid and Organic Search, social, Display, Audio etc.), balancing reach, frequency, and ROI.
* Measure campaign effectiveness, develop robust post-campaign reports and share actionable insights with key stakeholders.
* Work with agencies and internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery of media campaigns, including end-to-end journey integration, creative execution, targeting, and reporting.
* Work with media partners on test and learn frameworks to continuously improve campaign performance.
* Provide recommendations on media innovation, staying ahead of industry trends to explore new platforms and tools.
* Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Digital Delivery, Brand, Data, and Finance, to ensure media plans are integrated and commercially viable.
* Manage and report on budgets, ensuring all media investments are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
* Adhere to regulatory requirements, pushing boundaries in a measured way.
* Be a strong leader, driving engagement and development in the team.
About You
* An experienced Growth / Performance Marketing leader - you have extensive Paid media experience and while focused on sales, have the understanding of full funnel media.
* Commercially savvy – Multi-channel budget management, sales forecasting, and planning is something you are currently owning.
* Inquisitive - You use data and customer insights to drive better performance outcomes.
* Outcome oriented - You understand objectives, articulate the desired outcome and work collaboratively to deliver what is needed.
* Driven - You are self-motivated and proactive with the ability to embrace ambiguity and perform under pressure.
* Comfortable with testing quickly and failing fast - You test new tactics and are as comfortable reporting on the failures as the successes.
* A team player – Work alongside internal and external teams to drive the very best Marketing campaigns, combating challenges together and finding ways to make things happen.
* Have a voice - You are not only an excellent written communicator but you can talk clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders.
