You will provide advice on, negotiate and assist in agreeing appointment documents with employers/clients and/or their solicitors to ensure PI insurance policy compatibility and commercial acceptability. You will liaise with insurers on all matters concerning appointments, give contractual advice on contracts and contract-related matters for projects. You will also devise and present training and seminars on all the relevant contracts and their administration. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial lawyer with experience gained either in-house or in private practice. Any construction industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential. You will be an exceptional communicator, well-used to dealing with key stakeholders (or clients) both internal and external. Benefits on offer include generous annual leave (increases with long-term service), pension, death in service and private medical cover. Hybrid working - the successful candidate will need to attend the office at least one day per week, ideally two (but lawyers must live within a daily commute of Leeds). Part-time lawyers are most definitely of interest. If you want to join an organisation which continues to impress, please send your CV to Adele Callaghan or contact me to discuss the role.
