Residential Childcare Workers required for our client in Edinburgh - Temp/Contract The Social Care Community Partnership are looking to recruit experienced and qualified Residential Care Officers for clients in Glasgow and Paisley who need experienced and reliable staffing to cover shortages. This could be flexible work as an agency RCO or we can look into you starting as a temp then going on to work with them permanently. As the work would involve travelling to differetnt locations, being a driver would be desireable. Requirements for this role You must have or be working towards a minimum qualification of an SVQ3 in Children and Young People/ Social Services or the equivalent also if possible an HNC in Social Care/ Social Work / or alternatively a degree in Social Work willingness to be flexible The right to live and work in the UK experience working with looked after children or Children with learning difficulties and cpompplex needs some experiennce of working with young people who have experienced trauma be registered with the SSSC Benefits - competative hourly rate - opportunity to work in a variety of childcare settings - Flexible hours - accrued holiday pay on top of your hourly rate All successful applicants will be subject to a PVG Scotland Check and where necessary registration with the Scottish Social Services Council on the appropriate part of the workers register.
