We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant with 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounts department. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in XERO and have a proven track record in various reconciliation processes. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
* Conduct reconciliations for purchase ledgers, balance sheets, and ad hoc requests.
* Reconcile previous years' accounts on XERO to maintain historical accuracy.
* Manage sales ledger activities, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
* Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
* 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounts department.
* Proficient in XERO accounting software.
* Strong understanding of reconciliation processes, including purchase and sales ledgers.
