We have an exciting opportunity for a career-minded individual to join our Camberley team as an Electrical and Mechanical Technician, your role will be to perform a range of assigned front-line maintenance/operational activities on our sewage pumping stations in Camberley Surrey. This will include planned and preventative maintenance of sewage pumping stations to support the operation of our assets.
On a day-to-day basis, you will receive your “workload” and will also be answering emergency alarms. You will be working as part of a team but may also be alone which highlights the importance of our high health and safety standards.
The role also requires you to take part in a 1 week in every 6 weeks out of hours emergency standby rota, for which you receive additional payments.
Base Location - Camberley - GU15 3YL.
38 hours per week Monday-Friday.7:30 am -3:36 pm.
What you should bring to the role
* ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering.
* A valid driving license is essential.
* Previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, with an 18th Edition qualification beneficial.
* Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues are crucial.
* Be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems ideally working in a “true multi-skilled” capacity.

* Must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures.
* Knowledge and awareness of health and safety standards.

* Offering base salary up to £39,000 per annum plus standby & overtime opportunity increasing earnings by a potential £8,000 - £10,000.
