Key Responsibilities: As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our projects, ensuring efficient cost management and smooth project delivery. Your responsibilities will include: Cost Estimation: Accurately estimating the costs of construction projects, considering materials, labor, and equipment, to assist in project planning and budgeting. Quantity Takeoffs: Conducting detailed quantity takeoffs and measurements from engineering drawings and specifications to prepare accurate bill of quantities. Contract Administration: Managing and administering contracts, including reviewing and negotiating terms, assessing variations, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Cost Control: Monitoring project costs throughout the lifecycle, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities, and implementing effective cost control measures. Claims Management: Evaluating and managing contractual claims, including the preparation of claims for extensions of time, variations, and other contractual entitlements. Final Accounts: Coordinating the preparation of final accounts, including the measurement and valuation of works, negotiation of final settlements, and resolution of any disputes. Qualifications and Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
