The team supports customers who make use of our Hubs & Libraries, aiming to resolve enquiries at first point of contact.

About the job
The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of a full Hub/Library service, along with carrying out general office duties including using digital systems.
You will be required to support customers using Hubs & Libraries to resolve enquiries and to provide customer focused delivery of Hub & Library services and information provision.
You will assist with the provision of a high-quality service, including supporting events held within the Hubs & Libraries.

To provide a professional, high quality, customer focused Hub /Library service.
To play an active part in the Hubs/Libraries ensuring that good communication is maintained within the team and to contribute to the work of the team as a whole.
The successful applicant should be able to communicate effectively in Welsh to Level 5 – Proficiency.

This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12.60 per hour (scp 2, 3 and 4). This supplement will be reviewed in April 2026 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
