Duties will include, but not limited to:
1. Carry out machine shop duties as required and allocated.
2. Carry out machining of aircraft repair parts.
3. Carry out machining of aircraft parts.
4. Carry out fabrication of tooling, jigs and fixtures.
5. Create work packs.
6. Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations, and MOE.
7. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
8. Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous aircraft maintenance experience is desirable, however not essential.
2. Manual turning and milling experience.
3. Ability to operate & program CNC machining centres.
4. AutoCAD or other CADCAM experience would be advantageous.
5. Experienced and competent using inspection tooling.
6. Experienced with interpreting engineering drawings.
7. Experience with Microsoft Office Word & Excel software.
8. Willingness to create work cards/work packs.
9. Engineering background or relevant academic qualification is essential.
10. Exhibit a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
11. Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
12. Willing to work shifts (4 on 4 off).
13. Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
