Role Overview: As anIntermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will ensure cost control, value engineering, and financial performance while maintaining high-quality standards. You will play a key role in procurement, contract management, and risk assessment, working closely with project managers, estimators, and supply chain teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for construction projects. Prepare and manage cost estimates, tender documents, and contract negotiations. Monitor and control project costs to ensure value for money and profitability. Assess and manage risks related to cost and contracts. Review and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with contract terms. Conduct financial reporting, cash flow analysis, and cost reconciliation. Provide cost advice and value engineering recommendations to optimize project efficiency. Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and procurement to ensure cost-effective solutions. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Skills & Experience Required: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor Proven experience in cost management, tendering, and contract administration. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
