Fairview International Schools is a network of 6 schools - 5 schools in Malaysia which are fully certified International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools; and a further school in Scotland. Details for Candidates
We are currently looking for an Expression Of Interest for a part time Music teacher to be part of our rapidly growing UK campus. Fairview International School offers the IB Primary, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes. Experience of the IBDP is preferred, but not essential as we would offer training for the right candidate. The position could start as early as January 2025, however all EOIs will be retained by the hiring department for possible additional roles.
We are seeking to appoint a candidate:
* who will support our students in their journey of musical exploration and study
* who can support our quarterly musical events and concerts
* who can deliver a balanced and differentiated curriculum to all pupils which is supportive and challenging
* who has excellent organisation and time management skills
* who will work with classroom teachers, the school leadership team, parents and relevant external agencies to ensure each student's learning journey is developed with the student at the heart of each decision
* provide regular updates on pupil progress through written reports and meetings with families
* who is flexible / adaptable and can ‘react’ to ever changing day to day situations within a school environment
