KP Aviation, an international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets, is searching for the next key member of our team! The Inbound Sales Manager - EMEA oversees the performance and growth of the inbound sales team within the commercial aviation parts aftermarket and will report into the Director of Sales for the EMEA region. This role emphasizes managing inbound sales opportunities, nurturing leads, and executing customer acquisition and retention strategies. The manager works collaboratively with senior leadership and business development teams to expand the company's presence among passenger airlines, cargo airlines, OEMs, MROs, and tier-1 suppliers.
Key responsibilities include establishing KPIs, analyzing metrics, and mentoring the sales team to meet and exceed objectives. The manager is expected to maintain and grow the company’s portfolio, meet quarterly and annual sales targets, and support strategic initiatives that drive customer satisfaction and competitive differentiation.
Your role will take you to new heights, as you will be tasked with these essential job responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
* Recruit, train, and mentor Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives.
* Facilitate professional development through performance evaluations and targeted training programs.
* Maintain team compliance with internal policies and ensure quality department requirements are met.
Sales Strategy Execution
* Develop and implement strategies for managing inbound leads to maximize conversion rates.
* Ensure prompt follow-up and assignment of leads, driving efficiency in sales cycles.
* Oversee the preparation and execution of quotes, sourcing activities, and sales operations to meet margin goals.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
* Utilize sales tools like AvSight to provide accurate sales forecasts and insights.
* Track KPIs and manage follow-up actions for team accountability.
* Analyze sales data to identify trends and recommend adjustments to leadership.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
* Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
* Collaborate with Business Development Directors to identify and pursue new market opportunities.
* Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the company and expand its market presence.
Process Optimization
* Evaluate and improve sales processes, with a focus on lead management, customer retention, and satisfaction.
* Resolve issues related to orders, internal processes, or customer escalations.
Market Insights & Competitive Analysis
* Monitor industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities.
* Provide actionable intelligence to refine business strategies and product offerings.
Administrative & Other Responsibilities
* Assist in budget planning and management for the sales department.
* Approve or reject deals to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
* Undertake additional tasks as assigned by senior leadership.
