We are looking for somebody with a demonstrable ability to learn new technical skills including construction related drawings and documents, with a good eye for detail and exceptional written English skills. You will have an interest in buildings and the built environment, with a relevant work or educational background. Essential/Key skills: Educational and/or work background within environmental science, engineering, geography or other related fields Knowledge of or a keen interest in buildings and construction Good attention to detail Demonstrable ability to learn new technical skills in a proactive and efficient manner Responsibilities: Undertaking desktop-based technical audits of sustainability assessments Providing clear and concise written feedback to clients Support customers via email and phone Maintenance of all records and databases relating to work completed Attendance of training sessions and team meetings, in person or via online meeting tools While this is a junior role suited to recent graduates or those looking for a career change, it comes with the opportunity to learn skills which would put the right person on a path to a more senior role in the industry within 2 years, as you will fast track your technical knowledge, acquire a highly respected formal qualification within months, and have the opportunity to connect with many important contacts within the industry within a short period of time. The role is office based in our Watford office, with flexibility to work up to 50% of the time from home for the right candidate in the first 6 months and 75% of the time thereafter.
