About the role
Working Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:00, you’ll work closely with the commercial and operations teams, local Finance, and Group IT to enhance decision-making and streamline processes.
You will be responsible for:
Regularly analyse freight, passenger, and shop results to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Support the rollout of management tools, ensuring alignment with DFDS and route-specific procedures and policies.
Identify, report, and ensure correction of errors in reporting to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
Report monthly on inventory levels in the shore-side warehouse and on-board vessels.
Monitor wastage, shrinkage, and short counts to protect the business's liquid assets.
Prepare and review trend analyses as part of the monthly reporting process, providing actionable commentary and insights.
About you
The ideal candidate will be CIMA or ACCA part-qualified or possess equivalent qualifications through experience. This role involves delivering proactive commercial analysis to optimise the business performance of our Jersey ferry routes and drive future growth across a fleet of four vessels. Additionally, the candidate will provide essential support by gathering and analysing information to assist the business in making strategic decisions.
