Job summary The four community health providers in SE London, with health and social care partners, are working collaboratively on strengthening and developing adult and children's community health services through adults and children's and young people's Community Provider Networks (CPNs), chaired by provider CEOs. The Networks are well regarded in SE London and there is potential for them to grow and strengthen their programme of work, contribution and influence. We are looking for an experienced senior leader with extensive knowledge of community health services and their potential within the health and social care sector, to lead and drive forward the work of both CPNs. Current work programmes include the development of a SE London-wide set of 'core offers' which seek to improve quality and address health inequalities through ensuring common patient outcomes across our six boroughs, within our community services. Other major programmes include supporting the development of integrated neighbourhood teams and urgent community response services and a comprehensive data quality programme. We also would welcome applications from those interested in a different work/life balance or who would like a part-time role. This role is hosted by Oxleas NHSFT, on behalf of the four SE London community providers: Oxleas NHSFT; Bromley Healthcare CIC; Guys & Thomas's NHSFT; Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust. Main duties of the job This is a largely autonomous role working with Chief Executives and Executive Directors. You will be a self-starter experienced in designing and implementing service change, and in working strategically across health and social care. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced operational leader to gain experience of working more strategically within the health sector, or for those who can bring development and commissioning experience to the role. The CPNs have an important role in influencing, liaising and communicating within the SE London Integrated Care System and more widely by developing and maintaining constructive working relationships with Place forums and other key partners, particularly NHSE London and other London ICBs. The post holder will also need to work with the other two SE London provider collaboratives: the South London Mental Health Partnership and the SE London Acute Provider Collaborative as required. The postholder will need to provide strategic leadership to develop and manage the work programme, leading a small transformation team and working with lead clinicians from the providers. This is a hybrid role. You will need to be able to work from home, although you will be expected to travel across SE London for meetings.
