Service Engineer (Hygienic Process and Packaging Industries)
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £30,000 to £42,000 + Bonus + Expenses
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (on-site 2-3 days some weeks)
Equipment Includes: Heat Exchangers, Homogenisers, Centrifugal Separators, Valves, Pumps, Fillers, and other process and packaging equipment.

Key Tasks
1. Carry out Service, Installation, Re-location, Commissioning and Repair work.
2. Develop good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
3. Attend regular service meetings.
4. Maintain good communication with other Service staff and colleagues in other departments.
5. Ensure all paperwork is fully completed, kept up to date and submitted promptly, including Service Reports, Timesheets, and Expenses.
6. Help ensure that stock/parts are correctly booked to and from stores.
Responsibilities
1. Be active in seeking out additional sources of revenue from customers.
2. Develop new skills and undertake training for career development.
3. Assist in the training of other staff.
4. Stay updated on industry developments by reading relevant journals and attending courses.
About this Role
1. Carry out Service, Maintenance and Commissioning Work on Customers' sites and in Workshops.
2. Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with all regulations including the Health and Safety at Work Act.
3. Follow agreed procedures at all times.
4. Complete Site Documentation, Timesheets, and Expenses Claims promptly and correctly for invoicing or payment.
Full Driving Licence - essential to the position.
The role will involve significant travel and time spent on customer premises around the UK. Overnight stays of up to 12 consecutive nights may occur on rare occasions. Occasional weekend working may be required but will be minimized, with time off in lieu for weekend work.
