We are currently looking to employ an experienced Commercial Boiler Engineer to join our Commercial Service Department.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver servicing, repair and planned preventative maintenance on commercial boilers across London and the South of England. As part of this role you will be required to identify faults/issues and repair these to the highest possible standard. The ideal candidate will hold the skills and qualifications below:
1. Recognised qualification in the boiler industry (i.e. City and Guilds, NVQ)
2. Current ACS commercial elements
3. 5 years industry experience
4. Full UK Driving Licence
5. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
6. Good listening skills and strong verbal communication skills
Main requirements:
1. Able to work alone or as part of a team
2. Analyse faults/issues and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair, using saws and pipe cutters as necessary
3. Adhere to the highest H&S standards at all times, complying with company H&S procedures
4. Write reports documenting any faults and a summary of actions taken
5. Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts
6. Upgrade/repair heating and hot water services
7. Replace/repair pipework, tap stats, isolation valves and mechanical plant where required
8. Always deliver the highest level of customer care, exceeding service delivery expectations and delivering 'The Perfect Repair'
9. Complete and maintain site logs (written and electronic)
10. Responsive callouts associated with heating / hot water systems, delivering a high level of first time fix
11. Emergency call out based on rota system
Must have experience in plant rooms & commercial systems.
