We have a unique opportunity for a Project Leader to join a leading Aerospace OEM in Bristol.
This is a brand-new opportunity that will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to develop and grow into a Project Management position.
In this role, you’ll work with the Project Manager and collaborate with a multi-functional team across several Aviation projects focusing on next generation, sustainable commercial flight.

What you will be doing:
* Lead project(s) and create / maintain / control documentation in line with the company’s quality management process.
* Facilitate regular internal (e.g. with technical team or management) and external (client) meetings and reviews.
* Manage deliverables and milestones in accordance with the project plan(s).
* Manage project skills incl. resource and task allocations.
* Monitor and update project budget(s).
* Control the project(s) in terms of OTD / OQD / OCD.
* Participate to relevant certification audits (support will be provided).
What you’ll bring:
* Proficient working knowledge of MS Office, and online collaborative platforms, such as Teams.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* Project management/Co-Ordinator experience.
* Excellent customer leadership skills and experience.
* Ability to work collaboratively and support a culture of continuous improvement.
* Prior project management or co-ordinator experience, for example in engineering / manufacturing environment.
* Attention to detail.
* Innovative mindset and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work autonomously, recognising when support is required and seeking advice when necessary.
It would be great if you had:
* Aerospace, Defence, Space or Automotive background.
* Knowledge of Google suite.
* Awareness of EN9100 standard.
* Knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices. Training will be provided in the relevant project management tools required for the role.
* Certificate in Agile methodologies such as Scrum Master or SAFe.
* Knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as JIRA.

Employment Type - Permanent, Full-time.
Salary - up to £42,000 per annum, 25 days holiday, Medical & Dental Insurance, Pension.
Location - Bristol - Hybrid
Candidates must be eligible for SC Security Clearance
We operate a hybrid working principle, so the role could partially be worked from UK home as well as being delivered on Client and CIMPA sites, with regular visits to site as needed. Travel may be required.
