TAP is looking for an experienced Transport Compliance Manager with a delivery record in delivering compliance in transportation operations across multiple sites.
About the role
You will be the responsible and accountable leader for driving the compliance of TAP Operations across multiple regions, defining a clear vision to drive the compliance in all its elements (people, process, vehicles) and build a path to successfully deliver it leveraging on the collaboration of Transport Managers and Support Functions.

Key job responsibilities
- You’ll impart a positive compliance culture, instill ownership and create a high-compliance collaboration across various teams
- On top of Transport Managers which are named on the Operator License for each specific traffic area/node, you will be named in the Operator License of each traffic area
- You’ll act as the responsible and accountable person in respect of the Operator License (O License) and will partner with license holder to identify compliance gaps and opportunities
- You’ll act as single threaded owner for driving all compliance related topics and improving compliance performance and governance
- You’ll define a clear vision to drive TAP compliance work and build a path to successfully delivery it covering all compliance elements across process, people and vehicle activities
- You’ll align and coordinate resources towards the common vision and manage efforts across all teams, irrelevant if the resources reporting directly to yourself
- You’ll own lessons learnt and improvements for all compliance topics across all the teams that own compliance related activities
- You’ll work with cross-functional teams,
- You’ll uphold Amazon’s high standards of process quality,
- You’ll strive to improve and streamline processes, diving deep to find root causes quickly,
- You’ll be a subject matter expert on processes and activities,
- You’ll actively share and promote best practices with your colleagues and network,
- You’ll find practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality,
- You’ll think analytically about project management,
- You’ll provide day-to-day support during the rollout/implementation of newer systems/processes and gather feedback,
- You’ll communicate daily metrics and report exception,
- You'll prepare and participate in Operations daily calls to communicate your team's performance to TOM leadership,
- You'll require extensive travel within the regions.
- You’ll work from Monday to Friday on the day shift
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree
- Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent
- Valid Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification according to VERORDNUNG (EG) No. 1071/2009
- Prior experience within a transportation industry and compliance
