QA Technician
Rochester
£23k - £24k DOE
6am – 6pm, 4 on 4 off shift pattern
DO YOU HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A FOOD QUALITY ROLE OR A FOOD HANDLING ROLE?
We are looking for a QA Technician to join our clients’ well-established, yet growing, organisation based in Medway. If you have previous experience within the food industry working in a quality control or similar position or are educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant field, then this could be the role for you!
As a QA Technician, duties include:
Performing regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet required specifications.
Ensuring the correct calibration of equipment such as weight checkers, metals detectors, and more.
Carrying out checks on labels and date coding for finished products.
Raw material testing.
Completing thorough quality checks throughout every step of the process.
Any other duties required.
The successful candidate for this QA Technician position will have / be:
Previous working experience in the food industry, working in a quality role.
If you have no experience, you must be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
The full right to work in the UK without needing visa sponsorship now, or in the future.
A Food Hygiene certificate.
Flexible with working hours to be able to cover other shifts when needed.
Numerate and literate with basic IT skills.
