We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated,enthusiastic Musculoskeletal trained sonographer for our North West LondonDiagnostic Services. To succeed you must have excellent communication skillsand a flexible, proactive approach to delivering first class diagnosticservices and patient care We are looking for advanced practitioners,experienced in all aspects of General and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. However,if you have experience in some or most of these areas, we would still like totalk to you and help you realise your full potential!

Main duties of the job
Job Purpose:
1. Toprovide an efficient Ultrasound service, working within established policiesand processes.
2. Toreport to and support the Senior Operations Manager with the running of theservice.
3. Toensure an exemplary level of customer service is upheld to patients,consultants and clinic team.
4. Toperform a range of general and specialised examinations, maintaining thehighest professional and technical standards, whilst promoting highprofessional and ethical standards of clinical practice to ensure that allaspects of clinical governance are fulfilled.

Job responsibilities
17. Toexercise the highest standard of patient care and actively improve the patientexperience.
18. Toprovide a comprehensive and effective high quality Ultrasound service forPrivate, NHS and Consultant appointments.
19. Toperform a range of Ultrasound examinations and maintain a high level ofexpertise in the safe operation of imaging equipment. Be able to adaptsonographic technique where patient presentation dictates.
20. To ensure thatall Ultrasound referrals are evaluated and prioritised according to Healthshareclinical protocols and clinical informatioTo maintainconfidentiality at all times.
21. Escalate anyproblems, incidents and concerns to a senior member of staff.
22. To ensure thataccurate records are maintained in line with the policies and procedures.
23. Comply withNational & Local Infection Control Polices & Procedures.
24. To liaise withthe Radiologist or referring Consultant in an effective and professionalmanner, in order to provide the best possible service for the patient.
