We are currently looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Oxfordshire, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will be supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and, based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement to young people.

Your main responsibilities as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist:
9. Work collaboratively within our schools and children’s homes, this ensures that therapeutic support permeates every aspect of the education, care and support we offer all of our children and young people.
10. Provide consultation, workshops, training and guidance to the educational and residential teams around our children.
What we are looking for in a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist:
11. Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
12. Be a specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs
13. Need experience of supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they are being provided with clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences
14. Be a confident, engaging and effective, model, guide, leader and trainer.
15. Be highly organised and ready to take the initiative
16. Be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people
