There are opportunities for full time cover supervisors as well as part time/flexible cover supervisors who would like to fit work around their lives Ideally, we are seeking confident individuals who have had previous experience working as a cover supervisor in UK secondary schools. Our ideal candidate will: - have previous experience working as a cover supervisor or HLTA - be confident and outgoing, having a strong classroom presence - have strong behaviour management techniques - have experience/ an understanding of supporting pupils with special educational needs You will be required to: - step up in the absence of the class teacher and confidently deliver a range of lessons to a range of year groups - accurately follow pre-planned lessons, adhering to timings laid out by the class teacher - manage classroom behaviour effectively, reporting any concerns to the SLT within the school - maintain a committed stance to safeguarding, upholding the schools policies and procedures at all times You are representing Teaching Personnel, there is an expectation to work to a high standard and to follow our motto of "Making a Difference Everyday."
