Women and Children's Exploitation Worker – Sunderland\n\n£17-£20 per hour | 3+ month contract | Full-time | Charity-based Role\n\nDo you have a passion for supporting vulnerable women and children who are at risk of exploitation? We want you on our team!\n\nWe are currently recruiting a Women and Children's Exploitation Worker to join an established charity in Sunderland.
This role is designed for someone who is committed to protecting and empowering individuals, helping them to escape from exploitation and access the support and resources they need to rebuild their lives.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\n\n * Working with women and children at risk of sexual exploitation, trafficking, and coercion\n\n * Offering support, advocacy, and guidance, ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times\n\n * Building trusting relationships with service users, offering both emotional and practical support\n\n * Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to address individual needs and risks\n\n * Collaborating with multi-agency teams (social services, police, healthcare) to ensure a joined-up approach\n\n * Providing crisis management and ongoing support to help individuals exit exploitative situations\n\nWhat You’ll Need:\n\n * Previous experience in working with vulnerable women and children, particularly those at risk of exploitation\n\n * Knowledge of exploitation issues (sexual, domestic, trafficking) and safeguarding practices\n\n * An empathetic, non-judgemental approach with the ability to work under pressure\n\n * Strong communication and advocacy skills with a proactive attitude\n\n * Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in a safeguarding context\n\nWhy Apply?\n\n * Work with a well-respected charity making a meaningful difference in the lives of women and children\n\n * Ongoing training and career development opportunities to help you grow in your role\n\n * A flexible working environment with a strong focus on work-life balance\n\n * Competitive weekly pay and generous benefits\n\nIn addition to this role, Belmont Recruitment also offers various Criminal Justice and Domestic Abuse contracts in the area, providing further opportunities for professional growth and development.\n\nFor more information or to apply for this position, please don't hesitate to contact Tom Goren at Belmont Recruitment
