Class Teacher / Primary School Teacher - SP1
Transform the educational journey of children and young people (CYP) by becoming a Class Teacher at a wonderful School in Salisbury. Lead and inspire a team of classroom assistants, contribute to the development of the Education Provision (EP), and play a key role in shaping the future of young learners in a vibrant and supportive environment. This role is available on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide outstanding teaching practice, including preparation, planning, and classroom management
* Organize and deploy teaching assistants effectively within the classroom
* Implement school policies and contribute to the strategic vision of the Head of Education Provision and Governors
* Communicate and collaborate with outside specialists to provide a multi-agency service for CYP
* Set and evaluate individual termly targets, maintaining records of achievement
* Provide detailed reports and assessments for CYP, and maintain effective communication with parents/carers
* Create a stimulating classroom environment with accessible resources for all CYP
* Promote high standards of behavior and safeguard the welfare of all CYP
* Maintain a safe and secure environment in accordance with the school’s behavior policy
About You
* Be able to do the job as described
* Have Qualified Teacher Status
* Experienced in teaching across the Primary Phase, particularly Key Stage 2
* Skilled in setting targets, monitoring, and assessing pupil performance
* Experienced in managing support staff and fostering positive working relationships
* Proficient in ICT and using it to promote learning
* Committed to inclusion with a caring and understanding approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with parents
* Adaptable, versatile, and able to work under pressure
