Job Title: Early Intervention Occupational Therapist Banding : Band 6 Location : Mitcham, Surrey Working Hours: 37.5 per week Rate : Competitive, to be discussed upon application An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work for our NHS client based in Mitcham, Surrey. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for a short term contract What will your responsibilities be? As an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist, your role is to assess and support children with developmental delays, focusing on their physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs. You will create personalised therapy plans to help improve key skills such as motor coordination, communication, and social interaction. Working closely with parents and caregivers, you'll provide guidance and strategies to support the child’s development at home and in daily routines. You will also recommend environmental modifications, collaborate with other professionals, and monitor progress to ensure the child becomes more independent in activities like dressing, feeding, and play. Qualifications and Experiences: Previous experience within Early intervention Must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent HCPC registration How to apply?
