Location: Thorpe Park, Hours: Full time, part time, weekends & holidays Contract Type: Permanent Variable (PVC), Full Time, 5 days per week To support the Resort Entertainments department in driving the department standards and vision including: the creation and delivery of performances across Entertainment’s offerings through the running of cast rehearsals, content creation of upcoming offerings and giving daily performance feedback. To consistently drive the performance standards to grow all performers, motivating the seasonal team towards delivering compelling entertainment. To work collaboratively with the Entertainments Managers on new and previous Entertainments concepts. Responsibilities: Effective management of, and overseeing the creation, execution and improvements of performances in our Entertainment offerings. To manage seasonal performance standards and give quality and workable feedback throughout the season, focusing on good performance and poor performance. To own creative tasks within key creative projects as delegated by the Entertainments Experience Manager including; writing scripts, creating characters, work shopping new ideas, and choreographing routines. To work on Fright Nights creative projects with specific offerings, focusing on driving quality in performance and experience. To curate compelling creative decks, with the ability to present ideas with confidence, passion and clarity. To champion the growth of performance standards and think creatively when it comes to ensuring consistency is met throughout all Entertainment offerings. To formulate research into the Entertainments Industry, keeping up to date with key trends, and innovation in performance. To oversee the audition process including, administrative planning, facilitating and assisting with casting decisions across all auditions. To oversee the running of all performer rehearsals, creating dynamic and engaging rehearsal plans with a focus on coaching and readiness in performance standards. Responsible for creating makeup and prop processes including setting standards, auditing assets, and organisation of storage. Performance Vocational training/ qualifications Experienced coach and manager with excellent ability to lead a team. Experienced rehearsal facilitator, having led rehearsals with large scale casts with confidence and creativity. Experience in delivering large scale performance offerings including immersive attractions and large scale shows. Experienced in leading or supporting auditions and castings. Experienced in adhering to deadlines with the ability to work on multiple project timelines. Strong communicator who can influence others and build strong working relationships and rapport with our guests and staff.
