Summary This is a fast paced, exciting role in our Curation & Conservation team, supporting a busy Director with administrative needs. You’ll ensure the Director is always prepared for meetings and going out and about to visit our places. You’ll be looking after a very busy diary, ensuring that the time of the Director is well planned and utilised effectively. You’ll be familiar with making detailed arrangements for business travel, as well as have a proactive working approach to planning ahead for meetings, pulling together meeting agendas and taking notes at meetings. This is a fixed term contract until March 28th 2026. We’re currently undertaking our pay review process and it is likely that this salary will be increased from 1st April 2025. What it's like to work here The role reports into the Directorate Services Manager and operates as part of the wider Business Services team across the directorate. Day to day, your work will be generated from the Director and you'll work with others to collaborate to ‘get things done’ The Business Services team are friendly, collaborative, and great fun to work with.Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to visit our places and attend meetings/site visits too What you'll be doing Working at our Central Office in Swindon, you'll be supporting a very busy Director with diary management, travel logistics and meeting management. You'll have experience in a personal assistant role, and be able to anticipate the needs and planning ahead to ensure the Director is exceptionally well supported.You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached.
