The CPG group work as a team to deliver solutions to our customers through a proven methodology. A team of consultants, business developers and service professionals, work closely with account managers to design the right technical and commercial model for our clients. The Account Manager will build strategic relationships with company owners and board-level directors. They need to understand and articulate complex technical solutions and are required to propose and write compelling business cases. In addition, an account manager’s role is to interpret and negotiate creative finance solutions. A certain amount of UK and European travel is necessary to support customer visits to the Canon factories located in Germany and the Netherlands. Can develop senior level relationships with both new and companies who are existing Canon technology users. Maintain excellent knowledge of Canon and competitor’s production products, services, and workflow. Be proactive and visionary when discussing how Canon can influence and build-on the success of customers’ businesses. Ensure records of user and non-user account buying processes, policies & buying cycles (SFDC) are maintained. Forecast accurate revenue, GM, solutions, and units monthly and quarterly. Deliver forecasts against set financial and unit targets as a minimum expectation You will need As the Commercial Print Group Account Manager, you will have the following skills and expertise: High level of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism A proven track record in winning “High Value Relevant” contracts within the printing industry, preferably in Graphic Arts Knowledge of the Graphic Arts / Commercial Print Industry Proven experience in delivering high level account planning and business strategies. A good understanding of financial data and information Significant demonstrable experience of leading and managing virtual project teams to deliver large and complex business wins. Strong communication and negotiation skills with specific experience at a senior executive level Extensive knowledge of the competitive environment and relevant product & solutions technology Preferable experience of working in the offset print market and understanding of Lithography processes Preferable experience and knowledge of finishing solutions in the offset and digital print market Further Information Salary – Very competitive based on experience Location – Preferably based in the Midlands or North of England, ability to attend meetings in our Head Office in Uxbridge.
