About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Enterprise Architect to join our IT team, reporting to the IT Director. In this leadership role, you’ll shape the organisation’s technology strategy and drive architecture initiatives across business, applications, data, and IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with stakeholders, ensure project alignment with strategic goals, and oversee the successful delivery of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership: Define and evolve the enterprise architecture strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure technology decisions drive business value.
2. Architecture Development: Design, document, and implement architecture frameworks across business, applications, data, and IT infrastructure domains. Ensure the technology landscape is scalable, resilient, and supports long-term business goals.
3. Governance & Oversight: Develop governance frameworks to maintain architectural standards and ensure projects adhere to established strategies. Provide high-level oversight of projects, ensuring they stay aligned with business objectives and meet performance and security requirements.
4. Emerging Technology: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, evaluate their potential impact on the organisation, and lead the implementation of innovative solutions that drive efficiency and growth.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including PMO and business leaders, to translate business requirements into practical architectural solutions. Facilitate alignment across teams on technology decisions and priorities.
6. Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to IT and project teams, encouraging a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Degree level education.
2. Proven experience in Enterprise Architect or senior IT roles, preferably in energy or manufacturing sectors.
3. Strong technical expertise in modern IT technologies and architecture.
Competencies:
1. Strong communication and leadership skills.
2. Expertise in enterprise architecture principles.
3. Ability to balance technical depth with strategic business outcomes.
4. Self-starter with a focus on innovation and quality.
