NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde mental health services have a vacancy for a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAP) post within the North East Sector Community Mental Health Services. The post-holder will contribute to core and specialist functions within the service, for example carrying out assessments, and delivery of evidencebased therapies, including group-based interventions. The post-holder will carry out evidence-based psychological therapy/CBT with adults experiencing mental health difficulties. The post holder will have the opportunity to contribute to audit and service evaluation, provide supervision where appropriate, and will work as an integral member of the service. They will have access to clinical supervision with a qualified Psychologist. Applicants must have an honours degree in psychology (eligible for GBR), a post-graduate MSc in Psychological Therapy in Primary Care, and experience of working clinically within mental health. The post has some potential for limited travel to bases across the North East sector area, and will be worked between the hours of Monday-Friday 9-5 pm.
