We are looking for a person who has experience, skills, and ambition for the children to be nurtured and educated in a way that matches their needs and enables them to accomplish their learning and personal targets.
Working across the school, with SRP and mainstream staff, the role is suited to someone with a sense of purpose, a positive outlook and attitude, and a passion for helping children be the best that they can be.
We Are Looking For a Teaching Assistant Who
* Has a proven ability to support pupils with ASD or SEMH needs effectively through the use of dynamic & engaging techniques.
* Has the ability to work with a team in a responsive and flexible manner, responding to the instruction and advice of the provision lead.
* Can use their initiative to solve problems.
* Can share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
* Is able to lead small groups, 1:1 teaching along with preparing lessons and resources as well as completing paperwork to demonstrate learning and impact.
* To build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents, and external agencies.
* Is flexible, committed to our school and willing to take a full part in the life of our school community.
* Is open to additional afternoon hours when needed (as and when) to support the children from the provision access the mainstream classes.
