Test and Commissioning Manager required for a manufacturer of machinery based in Hook, Basingstoke. As the Test and Commissioning Manager, you will oversee the implementation of manufacturing improvements working collaboratively with departments directly affecting the areas managing and continually strive for excellence and best practice.
Job Overview
* Maintain open communication with managers, staff, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Oversee monthly production schedules, aligning with customer deadlines to enhance lead time accuracy.
* Ensure team members stay up to date with products and related technical knowledge.
* Implement and maintain effective processes and procedures within the area of responsibility.
* Encourage a culture of reporting non-conformance and near-misses, leading root cause analysis when required.
* Support and develop team members, helping them reach their full potential.
* Effectively delegate tasks while maintaining overall responsibility and control.
* Continuously assess and improve team efficiency.
* Manage the team's daily operations and maintain high safety and manufacturing standards.
* Conduct performance appraisals, provide constructive feedback, and address any performance concerns proactively.
* Clearly communicate objectives, expectations, and strategic goals to the team.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of optimizing team performance and development.
* Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to engage key stakeholders across departments.
* Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Salary & Benefits
Salary dependent on experience likely £40k-£43k.
