Trust Manager in St Albans
Newstaff Recruitment Agency in St Albans is currently recruiting for a Trust Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied portfolio of UK resident and charitable trusts, ensuring compliance with deadlines for annual accounts and tax requirements.
* Review work prepared by team members and provide input into their training and mentorship.
* Assist with advisory work and ad-hoc matters, including providing high-level advice on Inheritance Tax and general taxation matters.
* Collaborate with tax, accounts, and financial planning teams to ensure cohesive service delivery.
* Monitor budgets, and personal chargeability, and raise fee notes where appropriate.
* Experience in charitable trusts, probate work, and estate accounts is advantageous but not essential, with opportunities for development.
IT Skills:
* A working knowledge of CCH Trust Accounts and CCH Personal Tax is advantageous, as the firm utilises the CCH Practice Management System.
Qualifications:
* Ideally CTA and/or STEP qualified, or a willingness to work towards a STEP qualification.
* Candidates with relevant experience (qualified by experience) will also be considered.
