Job Summary – What To Expect
We are seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist to help deliver the CI Strategy across Operations functions at our site in Mountpark. This role involves embedding a CI culture and enhancing business performance across two sites (600+ employees) within Inventory and Packaging departments, as well as support function teams. The CI Specialist will act as a Coach, Facilitator, Problem Solver, and Project Manager, making waste visible and easier to eradicate.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities
* Promote CI culture and skill development
* Communicate CI progress via various channels
* Co-lead workshops as well as create and deliver CI training materials and modules
* Manage CI projects and track progress
* Collect and analyse data for process improvements
* Implement process improvements using lean or six sigma methods
* Present analysis and cost justification for improvements
* Lead CI activities like Kaizen events and Waste walks
* Implement the 5S cycle in Operations
* Prioritise Health, Safety, and Environment

We are seeking a candidate with excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and influencing skills, strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation abilities, and creative and clear communication to engage all business levels. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent organization and planning skills, along with analytical, statistical, and problem-solving abilities.
Required Experience & Education:
* Higher Education / A Levels or equivalent
* Experience in monitoring processes and products
* Proven participation in Continuous Improvement / Lean / Six Sigma activities
* Experience of managing multiple initiatives concurrently
* Experience in implementing and sustaining continuous improvements
* Knowledge of quality and process improvement methodologies
Preferred
* Experience of working in a regulated environment (FDA)
* Knowledge of Inventory / Packaging processes & systems
* Proficient in WMS, Redzone OEE, and Agile
* Understanding of key company KPIs (OEE, OTIF, etc.)
* Experience in project management
* Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) qualification
