Head of Interim - Building Security teams to shape and protect the future.
One of Intaso’s key clients are looking for an experienced security professional to oversee and integrate Secure-by-Design principles across a portfolio of change initiatives, ensuring that security risks are effectively identified, understood, and managed.
This role involves maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across assigned portfolios and influencing security practices globally. You will collaborate across business and technology functions to drive the management and reduction of cyber risk.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the primary security point of contact for assigned change initiatives.
2. Assess and facilitate additional security support from specialized teams such as Security Architecture, Security Design, or Security Engineering when required.
3. Provide security requirements and guidance throughout the change process.
4. Ensure threat modelling is embedded within relevant projects, programs, and engineering efforts.
5. Work closely with risk, compliance, and assurance teams to align security efforts with governance frameworks.
6. Support security culture initiatives to ensure messaging and awareness align with business needs.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
8. Navigate complex security and technology landscapes while effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Skills & Experience
Expertise in at least two security domains, such as:
1. Application Security
2. Network Security
3. Infrastructure Security
4. End-User Compute Security
Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks.
Minimum of six years’ experience in technology, with at least two years in a security engineering or similar advanced security role.
Proven ability to analyse, lead, and implement security solutions that drive innovation beyond conventional practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
