Beal High School (part of the Beacon Multi-Academy Trust) are looking for a Business Administration apprentice to work within the NELTA (teacher training) department. You will undertake a range of administrative duties to support the department to deliver a consistent, high-quality, integrated and seamless service.
The Annual wage has been pro-rated, therefore the Actual Salary for this role is £10,563.00.
Training course: Business administrator (level 3)
Hours: Monday - Friday, between 9.00am - 4.30pm. 44 weeks per year. 36 hours a week.
Duration: 1 year 6 months
Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Provide administrative support to the department.
* Understand the nature of the role and maintain confidentiality.
* Contribute to the successful achievement of team plans by undertaking administration work efficiently and reporting on progress until complete.
* Assist with printing, scanning and filing of all types of personnel documents.
* Liaise with relevant staff across the Trust.
* Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, email and mail.
* Support the administration and co-ordination of the academy's CPD and NELTA ITT training, events, meetings and the NELTA calendar.
* Maintain trainee records from selection to programme completion including enrolment checks.
* Track and monitor applications to training courses and qualifications.
* Support accurate maintenance of course data and vacancies.

* Demonstrates good communication skills, whether face-to-face, on the telephone, in writing or on digital platforms.
* Completes tasks to a high standard.
* Takes responsibility for initiating and completing tasks.
* Uses relevant project management principles and tools to scope, plan, monitor and report.

* Day release to attend New City College, AG Hornchurch campus (RM11 2LL) or Hackney campus (N1 6HQ).

GCSE in:
* Maths (grade 4 - 9 (A* - C)).
