Our exclusive client based in Lytham is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their business.
Duties include:
1. Assist with monthly management accounts
2. Maintaining the fixed asset register
3. Accruals and prepayments
4. Cash management and daily bank reconciliations
5. Purchase ledger duties including processing invoices, dealing with queries, and preparing payment runs
6. Managing credit control and liaising with account managers regarding any issues with customer accounts
7. Assisting with VAT returns
8. Updating and maintaining petty cash
The ideal candidate will be accustomed to working within a varied role where they will have covered both transactional level accounts as well as assisting at month-end. You need to have a positive can-do attitude, be a genuine team player, and take pride in your work.
