Axcis Education are working with an alternative provision in Birkenhead, who are seeking a teaching assistant for a long-term role in a forward-thinking school. The school is smaller than average and caters specifically for students with SEMH difficulties, autism, and ADHD. The school is looking to employ a behaviour support assistant to provide support and education for students with additional needs and challenging behaviours.
The role will start as soon as possible, and the school hours are 8:30 am - 8:00 pm Monday - Friday. The role will require you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with students who have additional needs and challenging behaviours. The candidate must have some experience working with students who display challenging behaviours and/or have SEND. The candidate must be available full-time and be seeking a long-term role. INDLIV
