You will be expected to keep detailed and accurate records of your work in a methodical method. You will be required to show initiative and possess judgement and fault finding skills in order to facilitate effective repairs to medical devices. Being self-motivated you will also show an ability to plan your own workload, liaise with manufacturers, monitor stock levels and order spare parts. Previous experience as a clinical technologist in a hospital environment is desirable, however, practical hands on experience with electronic and electromechanical equipment in an industrial, commercial or military role will be considered for those candidates showing transferable skills. Minimum qualifications BTEC, ONC/OND in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. You must hold a full UK manual driving licence.
