We are a well-established and respected contractor based in the East Midlands, known for delivering high-quality commercial, residential and educational projects. With a robust pipeline of exciting newbuild schemes across Sheffield, Leeds, Derby, Nottingham, and other locations within a 2-hour radius of our base, we are expanding our team to meet growing demand.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £20 million newbuild commercial project in Sheffield. This is a permanent opportunity for a driven, organized, and forward-thinking individual to play a pivotal role in ensuring project success from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the entire lifecycle of the £20M Sheffield project, including planning, delivery, and handover.
* Manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met or exceeded.
* Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction at every stage.
* Develop detailed project programs and monitor progress against key milestones.
* Ensure all projects adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Support the development of junior team members and contribute to the wider business.
Upcoming Projects
Following the successful completion of the Sheffield project, you’ll have the opportunity to lead additional schemes in Leeds, Derby, Nottingham, and other East Midlands/Yorkshire locations.
About You
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who has:
* Proven experience managing commercial newbuild schemes of £15M+ value.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire teams and drive results.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A strong understanding of health & safety regulations and quality assurance.
* Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent, and/or professional memberships (e.g., CIOB, APM).
* Flexibility to work on projects across the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions.
