Pastoral Support Assistant Our Client School are seeking a Pastoral Support Assistant to join their team, based in a Secondary School in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. This is a permanent and full-time role. The role is 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only (5 INSET Days). Kent Range KR6 (FTE 25,127-26,383, actual salary for working TTO £21,804.39-£22,894.31) The responsibilities within this role will include: The Pastoral Support team has responsibility primarily for supporting the Assistant Headteachers and Heads of Year to achieve high-quality pastoral care of students, enabling students to achieve the highest standards of learning, ensuring they are successful, confident and happy. To triage pastoral concerns under the guidance of the Assistant Headteachers and indicate appropriate pathways for students. To act as DDSL within the school. To refer cases to DSL, other DDSL, Heads of Year or Form Tutors as appropriate. To ensure that students follow the school's high expectations, both in and out of the classroom. To contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the well-being and personal care of children and young people with regard to the area child protection procedures.
