You will support the Maintenance & Estates Manager to deliver a first rate reactive and preventative maintenance regime. You will need to be organised, possess a broad range of maintenance skills and be dedicated to providing the highest standard of work for our patients, staff, visitors and our retail shops. Qualified to NVQ level 2 or equivalent in plumbing, is essential for this role You will be added to the maintenance on call rota proving 1 week in 4 out of hours cover The main responsibilities of the role are: To carry out all in house plumbing/mechanical installations on site Responsible for Legionella compliance for the Hospice including keeping the Legionella logbook up to date and carrying out any remedial work. Adjust set points for temperature on the BMS to maintain comfort heating for the Hospice. Trace faults on the controls system of the BMS and associated equipment, and work with mechanical engineers to rectify faults. Offer technical support to clinical areas when issues arise. Contribute to the maintenance on-call rota to cover 24 hours a day Monday to Sunday.
