Senior Technical Programme Manager - New Product Introduction
A global engineering company operating in the Aerospace arena continues to expand and is looking to recruit a Senior Programme Manager keen to forge their career and develop their programme management skills. This role would suit someone with a project background or a product engineer/manager coming from a complex engineering background within Mechanical/Electronic, ideally with experience in the Aerospace/Defence/Automotive/Nuclear/Rail industries.
Your Main Duties:
1. Full lifecycle project management (including commercial negotiations) focusing on delivering complex products.
2. Assist in the delivery of bids and proposals.
3. Cost management.
4. Partnering with international customers and internal stakeholders.
5. Plan and schedule project timelines.
6. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
7. Managing/mentoring members of the programme team.
You Must Have:
1. A degree in an engineering discipline - mechanical, aerospace or scientific subject.
2. Strong project management, process, and methodology skills.
3. Experience with mechanical or electronic products.
4. Experience in an engineering environment such as Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Oil & Gas, or Medical Devices.
5. Strong planning and organization skills with a high level of attention to detail.
6. Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
