Job Title: Warehouse Operative We have a great opportunity for Production Operators on a permanent, full-time basis. Epson Telford Limited was established in 1987, we are on a 50-acre site and operate a 24/7 manufacturing site. Epson is the only European manufacturing and distribution site for ink cartridges and textile inks and have recently expanded into blow moulding. Quality and innovation is at the heart of everything we do, from the Cleanroom environment to the in-house machinery, design and technology improvements from which they use our own 6-axis robots. Salary: £24,829 Days Shift Pattern. Following successful shortlisted application, you will be invited to Epson’s site to go through a recruitment process, to include: literacy and numeracy test, drug and alcohol test, health and safety briefing, and competency-based interview. The assessment will take around 3 hours to complete. The role: Main job functions Picking stock for internal & external customers, Receiving stock into the warehouse efficiently & accurately. Completing perpetual inventory checks and investigation as and when required. Environmental Ensure all activities are carried out in line with the company’s policies and procedures with special attention to turning off unused equipment, lights etc. All waste streams are correctly segregated. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensuring there is sufficient stock to complete the required Production Orders on time. Ensure all customer requirements (Internal & External) are fulfilled accurately & on time. Inventory checks to be carried out daily in accordance with the Department Business Plan and Objectives. Ensure the accuracy of all material movements throughout the supply chain & all SAP transactions are accurately completed. Take an active part at all Company stock checks, ensuring deadlines are achieved. Ensuring all codes of practice set out by ETL are followed correctly. To participate in the completion of all Department KPI’s activities in line with the Business Plan. Ensure all delivery advice notes (inbound & outbound) are signed, dated & filed correctly. Picking and preparing customer orders both internal & external. Ensure FIFO/FEFO is maintained within all aspects of the Warehouse procedures and processes. Support Departmental involvement in Process Improvements by the forms of IQ Teams and Suggestions. To contribute towards minimising the Environmental Impact of our activities.
