The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Asset Manager to help deliver and/or manage a diverse range of asset management/optimisation/energy projects within our major client portfolios. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about technical excellence and providing an outstanding service to our clients.
We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as either a Consultant or Senior Consultant, depending on experience and expertise. This role focuses on delivering impactful and complex projects within water-related sectors, such as utilities, water authorities, and NGOs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, industry expertise, and a passion for driving sustainable, innovative solutions that make a meaningful difference for our clients.
You will join our Asset Management team, ideally located in London, but we will consider locations as far as Bristol, Winchester, Solihull or Leeds. You will technically co-ordinate and/or manage projects to suit your individual skill set and preferred development needs, allowing you the opportunity to learn and grow your career. You will also assist with the management of the asset management team within London, e.g., resource forecasting.
As a senior member of an established and growing team, you will mentor and delegate work amongst engineers and other specialists. You may also lead a small team in managing resources.

Consultant-Level Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the delivery of projects within the water and utilities sectors, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
2. Collaborating with team members to analyse and address complex client challenges.
3. Producing deliverables that meet project requirements within deadlines.
4. Conducting data-driven analysis to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
5. Contributing to presentations and reports that effectively convey findings to stakeholders.
Senior Consultant-Level Responsibilities:
1. Leading the delivery of high-value projects within the water and utilities sectors, taking ownership of key deliverables.
2. Managing workstreams, ensuring alignment with client objectives and deadlines.
3. Providing strategic guidance and leadership, addressing complex challenges with tailored solutions.
4. Conducting and overseeing analysis of datasets to drive evidence-based recommendations.
5. Delivering high-impact presentations and facilitating discussions with senior stakeholders, particularly in the water sector.
6. Guiding junior team members, fostering efficiency and client-focused solutions.
7. Playing a key role in business development by contributing to proposals, networking, and marketing activities, particularly in the water industry.
We are seeking the below skills and qualifications:
* Qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Water, Engineering, Environmental Science, Asset Management).
* Comprehension of the water asset lifecycle, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
* Skill in developing and implementing asset management frameworks and strategies that drive performance and efficiency.
* Analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Strong project management skills, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
* An entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desirable knowledge includes:
* IAM qualifications, or Chartered status.
* Knowledge of the UK water sector and/or other UK infrastructure sectors.
* Skills in risk and opportunity management, as well as change management.
* Strong interest in digital technologies and developing tools for data management.
